

The default value for a position's Layout field is "c" for the center of the line. If the Numbering field is blank, numbers will not be assigned. The two characters specify the primary and secondary rules for assigning numbers. The Numbering field must contain two of the following characters in any order or be blank. If two symbols have the same x location, it will next assign numbers starting with the top (t). This means that the position will assign numbers starting with the symbol furthest to the right (r). The default setting for the Numbering field is "rt". The position's Spacing field determines the distance between snap points.
